Do you deliver to my address?

We provide delivery services to a wide range of areas surrounding our shop in Haverhill, Suffolk. Our delivery radius covers towns and villages nestled along the Suffolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire borders, such as; Haverhill, Linton, Saffron Walden, Cambridge, Newmarket, Kedington, Duxford, Waterbeach, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Hadleigh, Clare, Sudbury, Hedingham, Halstead, Finchingfield, and Thaxted.
Please view a map of our delivery zones by clicking here and you will be able to determine if your delivery address is within our delivery zones. You can use the zoom and drag controls on the map to move around and zoom in/out. If you would like to search for your address within our map using your postcode or house name etc., simply click on the four square corners in the top right of the map. This will open the map in a separate window, providing a user-friendly experience for locating your specific address. Once the window is open, click on the magnifying glass next to the map title ‘Delivery Area’ and type your address, postcode, or any relevant details. Our interactive map will ensure that you can easily and accurately determine if we deliver to your location.

Where are you based?

We are located in the town of Haverhill, along the border of Essex, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. For those who wish to visit us in person, our shop is easily accessible, and you can find all the necessary contact information and our exact address by simply clicking here.

Can I collect salt from your shop?

Yes, absolutely. Our shop is well-stocked with water softener salt for you to collect at your convenience. Whether you need just one bag or a larger quantity, we’ve got you covered. Our opening hours are from 7:30am to 4pm on weekdays and from 8am to 12 noon on Saturdays. Please keep in mind that we are closed on bank holidays.
If you want to collect a large amount of salt, such as 30 bags, we recommend that you give us a call in advance on 01440 709328. By doing so, we can ensure that we have enough stock available for you, and if necessary, we can set aside the salt for you to collect. 

What are your delivery costs?

We like to provide our customers with transparent pricing, ensuring that what you see when placing an order is the total cost you will pay. This means that all delivery costs are already factored into our salt prices, so there are no surprises at checkout. Our inclusive pricing covers VAT and delivery.

Can I pay over the phone?

Yes, if you encounter difficulties processing your payment online using credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, don’t worry! You can simply contact us during our opening hours and make the payment over the phone using a credit/debit card. It’s important to note that we can’t accept American Express payments over the phone.

What payment methods do you accept?

We are pleased to offer you a variety of convenient payment options. When you shop online, you can use all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. When you visit our shop, we accept cash and all major debit/credit cards, with the exception of American Express.

My payment will not process, can you help?

If you’re experiencing difficulty processing your payment, we recommend checking that your billing postcode matches the one registered with your bank or card provider. Should you continue to encounter issues, please don’t hesitate to contact us, and we’ll be more than happy to try and assist you or arrange payment over the phone.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

We strive to ensure that all orders to delivery zone 1 (red zone) are delivered within 10 working days (Monday – Friday), and all orders to delivery zone 2 (yellow zone) are delivered within 14 working days. In the rare event of unexpected delays with your delivery, we will make every effort to promptly notify you.

I need to change my delivery address but I’ve placed my order?

If you realise you need to update your delivery address, don’t worry! You can reach out to us by clicking here to make the necessary changes. As long as your order isn’t out for delivery and the new address is within our delivery zones, we’ll be more than happy to assist you with the update.

I haven’t received my order confirmation email?

If you haven’t received your order confirmation email, it might be in your junk or spam box, as they can sometimes get redirected there. It’s also possible that the email might take a few hours to arrive. If you still can’t find it, don’t worry! Please reach out to us and we’ll gladly provide you with a copy.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, provided your order is not already out for delivery, you can certainly cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Why have you cancelled/refunded my order?

In the event that your delivery address is outside of our designated delivery zones, we will promptly cancel your order and issue a full refund. Additionally, we will send you an email to notify you about the cancellation and refund process.

Can I choose a delivery date/time?

Unfortunately, we do not offer set delivery dates or times. However, if you have a preferred delivery date or time, please add this information to your order notes. While we cannot guarantee fulfilment of specific date or time requests, we will make every effort to meet your preferences. It’s important to note that our delivery process is designed with environmental and economic considerations in mind, aiming to optimise efficiency while minimising our carbon footprint. We try to combine and deliver orders within the same area at the same time to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
If you’re going to be out or think you may not be home when your delivery arrives, no worries! You can simply leave any leave safe instructions for our delivery driver during checkout. Another option is to email us specific details on where to leave the items, such as next to the white garage or under the wooden car port.
